ACHP offering Section 106 Review Classes

Neighborhood and Community leaders: Sign up now for training in Section 106 of the National Historic Preservation Act. Courses are taught by skilled historic preservation specialists from the ACHP, the only federal agency responsible for administering the National Historic Preservation Act’s Section 106 review process. This is useful for community leaders and members of the public who are dealing with projects in the community that involve any sort of federal involvement. The ACHP is offering a variety of classes in 2010 across the country.

This course explains the requirements of Section 106 of the National Historic Preservation Act, which applies any time a federal, federally assisted, or federally approved activity might affect a property listed in or eligible for the National Register of Historic Places.
