Well when was the last time you saw a high style French Second Empire Mansion at ONLY 15,000.00?
939 Chateau Ave is a 3800 Square Feet, 15 Rooms, 9 Bedrooms and assessed at 87K in its current use as a three family. Imagine this one restored to its former glory. The only thing I woudl change is teh removal of the circa 1900 brick porch in favor of something more period correct, but then I am a bit of a purist.
This one is listed by Kurt Polter, Prodigy Properties,513-841-7000. This is a foreclosure and was owned by the now defunct Deanna Apartment Company. All of their properties are for sale by the bank and they are in Fairmount and Price Hill listed by this same agent and there are some pretty choice buildings but I think this one is the best.
In order to buy this you have to come up with 5000.00 in earnest money with the offer (guess the bank doesn't want to waste its time with "investor types') Of course the copper is gone but you would likely need to reconfigure and redo the plumbing anyway.
I predict this one will sell quickly, its not everyday a house like this hits the market at this price but be prepared to bring your tools, you will have a project ahead of you.
